| STORY OF THE HYDRANGEAS HYDRANGEAS have always been one of my favorite flowers. It was not until I had been driving pass my neighbor's bushes for two weeks that I got up at 6 AM grabbed my camera and caught the flowers with the morning light just right. I also love the little blue centers of each blossom. Getting the paint color I wanted was a huge challenge. I did experiment with some inks and some specialty paints from Seattle. It took awhile to get them to "pop", but dark shadows and hard lines helped immensely. |
